Golden Jubilee £5 Crowns
We have just received the first delivery of these crowns in specimen packs, they will be issued in a number of versions as usual.

Year 2002 Gold Sovereigns
2002 sovereigns will have a shield reverse. Issue limits for the uncirculated version will be kept at 100,000 while the issue limit for the proofs is 12,500 plus 8,000 reserved for proof sets. Keep watching this space for further updates as details become available. This will also apply to the half sovereigns, and also to the gold proof £2 and £5 coins also.

Proofs Sovereigns in January 2002
For year 2002, the proofs will be issued in January instead of April, we expected the official release date to be Monday 14th January, and to have them in stock for immediate delivery within the first week. The Uncirculated or bullion issue will be delayed from January to mid February. This information is now official, we will keep this page updated. After a slight production delay at the Royal Mint, and as at Monday 4th February, we were expecting the proofs to arrive on Thursday 7th February.

Half Sovereigns
2002 half sovereigns will have the same special design as the full sovereigns.
The proofs were due to be released on Monday 14th January, and we now have stocks.
The uncirculated (bullion) version will be issued about one month later, and once again we will have stocks within days of the official release date.

Commonwealth Games £2 Coins
There will be a set of four designs of two pound coin to commemorate the XVII Commonwealth Games held in Manchester.

Australia
Our first shipment of 2002 Silver Kookaburras has already arrived. We have these in sizes of 1, 2 and 10 ounces, and 1 kilo. We are accepting orders for immediate delivery.
We also have the 2002 Year of the Horse Silver Coins, in the same sizes, plus an additional half ounce version.

2002 Euro Coin Sets
We are currently accepting orders for Euro coin sets for all 12 of the Eurozone countries. These will be available for despatch in January 2002. We will also be offering Euro sets from the three minor states.
